Oakland Valley Race Park is a premier Kart and Supermoto racing facility in the Northeast U.S. We are a great place for beginners and seasoned veterans alike. OVRP offers a world class half mile asphalt sprint road course, a 1/5 mile dirt oval for those looking for wheel to wheel, "left turn" short track action, and the Northeast's premier and original Supermoto motorcycle track with a dedicated dirt section.
Conveniently located within a two hour drive of New York City, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, Oakland Valley Race Park, owned and operated by Hannen Motorsports, Inc., is the Northeast's premier, full time, action-packed karting facility. Tim Hannen and his professional staff are pleased to offer a racing venue with two road courses, a paved tri-oval, and the option to run on dirt oval, and an on-site cafe, and kart service shop.
Oakland Valley Race Park offers programs for the individual racers and Fortune 500 companies alike. Activities range from kart club racing, regional level kart races, private parties, kart rentals, "Introduction to Karting" and "Learn to Ride" motorcycle programs, as well as various "arrive and drive" opportunities.

Oakland Valley Race Park's ½ mile road course was originally built in the 1960's. Known to old timers as "Cuddeback", the track was acquired in the early 80's by Sal Polisi and was known as Noto Raceway. In the late 90's, under new ownership, the track underwent major renovations and upgrades. A new shop was built, the track repaved, and a scoring tower with AMB timing and scoring was added. Just Recently, Oakland Valley was acquired by Tim, Colleen and Peter Hannen and is now operated by Hannen Motorsports, Inc.

Hannen Motorsports finalized the acquisition of Oakland Valley Race Park on November 13th, 2009. "We have put together a fantastic team for this venture including MRP / Birel America, and of course my parents, Peter and Colleen Hannen. Our focus is in developing a safe, friendly, and competitive environment for current and future racers", says Managing Owner Tim Hannen, a lifelong educator dedicated to youth development through racing.
The 2012 racing season at Oakland Race Park will be the third under "new management". Plans for 2012 include Rotax Max Challenge Regional Series races, a 16 race club championship, including a return of shifter kart classes, a new OVRP-HMI SuperMoto series, more racing school dates, tri-oval karting events, and the use of additional track configurations to better accommodate the ever growing Kid Kart class catering to children ages 5 to 7.
